Carlson Construction understands heavy industrial construction, and we have the track record to prove it. As industrial general contractors, Carlson has the outstanding safety credentials and standards to perform in this rigorous industry segment and execute projects with excellence.
We’re proud to say we’ve surpassed the requirements of the Alberta Construction Safety Association’s (ACSA) Certificate of Recognition and consistently achieve high marks in external audits. In 2016, we achieved the exceedingly rare score of 100%. In addition, we choose to go beyond compliance requirements by applying Industrial Safety Standards — the highest safety standards possible in construction — on ALL our sites.
Our heavy industrial construction project portfolio includes many significant successful projects including the build-out of the massive Reheat Oven at AltaSteel; the excavation, earthwork, and installation of 500+ pile foundations at the Sunnybrook 510S Substation, and the Agrium Prill Tower work at its Redwater fertilizer plant, for which we received an Award of Excellence in Concrete.
Carlson’s heavy industrial work also includes ongoing maintenance and renovation contracts for clients such as Suncor, Celanese, and Petro Canada, and we’ve performed multiple projects for EPCOR and other large power distribution clients.
We have the right skills, knowledge and experience for your next heavy or light industrial project. Contact us to find out how we can deliver on your next project.
