Bruce has dedicated more than 40 years to building successful construction projects and strong working relationships across the province. As President of Carlson, Bruce is known for his thoughtful leadership, attention to detail, and commitment to clear communication at every stage of a project.
Bruce takes pride in helping teams stay aligned, from early planning to final walk-through. His hands-on approach and passion for people have earned him respect across the industry, and he remains a steady presence on the ground, ensuring Carlson’s work reflects both the original vision and the integrity behind it.
With 30+ years of experience across industries, including banking, federal government, oil & gas, casino gaming and Indigenous economic development, Gordon brings a unique advantage to Carlson Construction, especially in supporting First Nations projects. Gordon leads our Market Development and Strategy team, with a focus on expanding into new markets.
Dustin brings a deep understanding of construction from the ground up—literally. Starting his career in the field and later working as a Structural Design Engineer, he combines practical, hands-on experience with strong technical expertise. This unique background gives him the ability to anticipate challenges, find efficient solutions, and manage complex projects with precision and confidence. As a member of Carlson’s senior leadership team, with a special focus on pre-construction and estimating, Dustin has been directly involved in a range of developments across Alberta.
Rhys oversees Carlson’s construction operations, which encompass project managers, superintendents, and special project teams. His extensive experience both in the field and the office, and active involvement in all project activities, has earned him a reputation for excellence and the deep respect of his team members.
Judy brings experience from across industries, including construction, and oversees all administrative functions at Carlson, including accounting, human resources, and office administration.
