Expanding Sherwood Ford’s Service Offerings
Sherwood Park Ford, a family-owned dealership since 1936, serves communities throughout Sherwood Park, Edmonton, Strathcona County, and St. Albert. Carlson completed three major facilities to support their continued growth:
Dealership (40,000 sq. ft.): A two-storey facility featuring an open-space showroom and service centre including 23 service bays, a parts and autobody shop, detail and undercoating bays, sales offices, and administrative areas. The project also included sitework, landscaping, and lot paving to accommodate vehicle storage.
Detail Facility (15,000 sq. ft.): A separate building housing eight wash/detail bays, two undercoating bays, a photo booth with a revolving floor, two pre-delivery inspection bays, and second-floor staff and office space, with additional room for future development.
Fleet Centre (14,000 sq. ft.): A standalone 12-bay service facility with an integrated car wash to support Sherwood Ford’s growing fleet services. Located adjacent to the dealership, the fast-tracked build was completed during winter in tight quarters, requiring careful coordination around active vehicle operations.
